WORLD AIDS DAY 2005

The department along with the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Medical College Trivandrum organised World AIDS Day Commemoration on the 1st of December 2005. The College Principal Dr. Rama Devi Presided over the function.Noted poet and celebrity Shree Madhusoodanan Nair was the chief guest.

After the inaugural session Dr. CR Soman conducted a quiz competition for medical students on HIV AIDS.

Dr. Anoop Lal made a presentation on 'HIV / AIDS and the Evolution of Man'.

This was followed by a magic show by the reputed Bhagyanath family

Earlier there was a Poster Desigining competition for Medical Students on the topic 'Stigma in HIV / AIDS. '
